Stirling Moss makes speedy pit-stop cuppa with InSinkErator
When Sir Stirling Moss was completing the renovation of his kitchen as part of his three-year project to modernise and upgrade his Mayfair home, the legendary British racing driver, unsurprisingly, chose to combine his love of gadgets with his love of speed.
A long-time fan of InSinkErator products, Stirling has just installed a new InSinkErator steaming hot water tap to ensure he can make a cup of tea as fast as a Formula 1 pit-stop.
Passionate about quality and high standards, Stirling first discovered InSinkErator three decades ago in the US, when he loved the steaming hot water tap so much he had one shipped over and installed in his London home. Describing himself as a massive fan of technology, Stirling loves being able to get boiling water straight from the tap, and his exacting standards ensure he only chooses the best.
"I have had an InSinkErator steaming hot water tap for the last 35 years or so, and I can honestly say I would not have chosen an alternative product," he admits. Our InSinkErator food waste disposer is also still going strong after 30 years!"
The InSinkErator steaming hot water tap not only eliminates the need for a kettle, but can produce up to 100 cups of steaming hot water per hour, ensuring that even the most exacting speed enthusiasts can be satisfied when entertaining a large number of thirsty guests for tea.
With a whole host of other uses, such as preparing rice, cleaning dirty dishes, blanching vegetables and so many more, the ever-increasing range of InSinkErator steaming hot water taps is evolving to meet the needs of 21st century life. InSinkErator's colourful and stylish 3N1 taps also offer filtered cold, hot and steaming hot water, providing the solution to a busy lifestyle.
"Technology is all about making life easier and more exciting," argues Stirling. "Who wouldn't want the joy of having everything you need on tap? Steaming hot water at the push of a lever - not having to fill a kettle and then wait for it to boil - it's terrific, it's so fast and I can honestly say it is the most used item in our kitchen. It looks great too!"
