Two new ranges and a fresh strategy see Coram stride ahead

* Coram-1.jpgUK showering solutions brand Coram Showers, known for its quality, durability and ease of installation, is launching two new product ranges and a stunning updated brochure. Not a brand to rest on its laurels, its latest product offerings include two inventive new ranges which serve to confirm the company's reputation as a frontrunner in the UK shower enclosure industry.

The Optima range of high-quality shower enclosures offer a luxurious finish, packed with features across a wide range of designs and sizes. Core features include 6mm toughened 'Stay Clean' safety glass as standard, the option of chrome or white frames as well as plain, satin or modesty glass.

Other features include quick release wheels on the bottom of doors for easy , double wheel runners on both the top and bottom of doors, chrome profile cover caps and polished stainless steel straight bar handles.

Coram's new GB range is a professional level range which has also benefitted from some innovative new additions and can be ordered to arrive on site on the next working day. Standard features include a lifetime guarantee (if fitted with a Coram shower tray) and chrome effect frame finishes. Quadrant, bifold, corner, pivot and sliding enclosure styles are offered.

Other features include a semi-frameless design, 4mm and 5mm glass thicknesses, 'Stay Clean' glass coating as standard, single wheel runner top and bottom, quick release wheels on the bottom of doors for easy cleaning and push on magnets and seals added to the pivot door.

Coram is a trusted manufacturer with a renowned brand heritage and longstanding reputation throughout the industry with installers and specifiers. Brand research reiterated that Coram is seen as a forward thinking brand, with large installers remarking: "Coram has always been up there at the head of the market," and "Always had forethought and foresight".

Last year Coram used enough glass to cover Trafalgar Square 10 times over and between 1996 and 2014 it manufactured enough shower tray units to pave the Vatican City!

The history of the Coram brand is firmly entrenched in its Shropshire base, at Bridgnorth near Telford, which was established in 1988. The landmark headquarters employs over 100 people, housing not only the manufacturing and distribution plant but also Research & Development, Design, Marketing and Branding plus the company's UK management arm.

After undertaking an extensive programme of market research earlier this year, involving installers, specifiers, contractors, merchants and retailers, Coram is rolling out a suite of new products designed to address key considerations and needs highlighted by the industry study findings. This is being supported by a comprehensive new marketing programme, including the updated new brochure, in-store marketing collateral and a widespread advertising campaign.

All Coram products are designed and manufactured in the UK with high quality materials, using advanced engineering techniques, and come with a lifetime guarantee. Owing to its UK manufacturing locations, Coram can offer a 'next day delivery' promise on the majority of its products and the fully-trained customer care team can offer help and advice, as well as sourcing spares for any of the Coram products.

As well as the two new brands described above, Coram offers the premium brand - Premier. Bespoke enclosures are also available as part of the Optima range in any size, shape or configuration. In addition there are two ranges of glass shower panels: Stylus and Column. Coram also offers a self-contained shower unit called the Showerpod.

Anticipating the needs of the market, Coram has strived to ensure that its new range of shower enclosures demonstrates the best architecture, best prices and is underpinned by the best installer support. Coram's dedicated in house training department provides a choice of training courses and online installation videos.

"We feel that it is very important to utilise our industry feedback and develop products that match and exceed our customer needs and we are motivated by an enormous sense of pride in our products and ranges," explains John Blackburn, UK Group managing director. "The latest product launches reinforce our position as a trusted manufacturer offering modern, aspirational products with consummate attention to detail and we feel it's very important to communicate this message to our customers.

"Over the past 18 months we have initiated and driven forward a significant brand refresh and management restructure, also introducing several change projects and product development initiatives. Furthermore, the business has strengthened the senior management team with two key appointments.

"It is testament to the tenacious hard work of everyone in the Coram team that we are in a strong position to advance the business and I am keen to capitalise on our efforts; showcasing a renewed Coram and a renewed commitment to our Bridgnorth headquarters.

"The coming year will see further market-leading, ground-breaking product innovation and new launches, as we look towards a very exciting 2016."

The new Coram brochure will be available on the website and with stockists from 1st November 2015.
