Electrolux group wins CIH supplier of the year award

CIH held a suppliers lunch at The Dorchester Hotel in London recently and it was at this event that the Electrolux group, which consists of AEG, Electrolux and Zanussi, was announced as the winner of the 'supplier of the year' award to Euronics.

Robin Millwood, the chairman of CIH said: "The Electrolux Group has shown great commitment to CIH through delivering a comprehensive range of exclusive products to support its Agency initiative".

Hayley Butler, Electrolux Channel Head, said: "Everyone back at head office feels incredibly proud of this achievement. We have a team of dedicated people, who do what they do because of the passion and determination shown by the independent retail trade. We will continue to invest in exclusive products and bespoke marketing campaigns coupled with the support from our field and in house teams."

The Zanussi Lindo300 ZWF91483WH has been one of Euronics' most successful Electrolux products. With its XXL drum that can accommodate 9kg of laundry and its A+++ energy efficiency rating, it has been awarded a Which? best buy, and as well as being a top selling line it is due to feature on TV with Euronics. The Zanussi ZCV667MWC freestanding cooker is another success story. Its excellent energy efficiency rating and XL oven capacity make it a great choice for consumers. It is an extremely successful appliance within the category, with a predicted growth of 17% year on year.
