Making bathrooms beautiful - HiB unveils new identity, new website, new brochure and new range!

* HiB1.jpgHaving recently turned a quarter of a century, HiB is preparing for a new era of even greater success with the reveal of a new brand identity and strap line - 'making bathrooms beautiful', along with a new website, a new brochure and a new range - and we're told there's more to come!

The major rebrand follows an intensive research and development process for the leading bathroom company under the remit of transforming the brand in line with the businesses' future vision. To begin with, HiB not only recruited a specialist brand agency but talked to customers and staff via one-to-ones as well as to mystery shoppers, to find out exactly what the business meant to them.

"Since its inception, the business has grown at unprecedented rate - evolving to not only become one of the biggest names in the bathroom industry, but a business which is synonymous for pushing boundaries in bathroom innovation," says Robert Ginsberg, managing director at HiB.

* HiB-Novum-Bathrooms.jpg"However, we wanted to do even better and therefore as we approached our 25th anniversary, we thought it was an opportune time to assess where we were and look to the future.

"From speaking to brand specialists, customers and staff, the feedback was very positive; HiB products were highly regarded, the service was seen as great, people valued our innovation but we needed to evolve the communication of these values through branding."

The next objective was to determine a new brand and strapline which more adequately communicated the ethos and the goals of the company to both trade and retailers. While the new brand identity was outsourced, the new strapline was chosen by a company employee - 'making bathrooms beautiful'.

Steve Kaye, marketing director comments: "We asked everyone for suggestions for our new strapline - our PR agency, branding agency, all HiB staff - the process was long but in the end the winning suggestion came from within.

"For us, 'making bathrooms beautiful' is everything that we're about; making mirrors, lighting, cabinets and ventilation more than just an afterthought but as the all-important showpiece of the bathroom."

The rebrand is already live and will be included in all packaging, brochures and promotional material, as well on the HiB transport fleet, new uniforms, signage and all other company collateral. In addition, the businesses' popular bathroom furniture brand, Novum, will now be known as HiB Novum.

Robert adds: "We're incredibly excited to reveal our new brand identity to customers. We are positive this will strengthen our proposition and provide the cornerstone to another 25 years of growth, innovation, beautiful products and success - ensuring that HiB are truly making bathrooms beautiful."

Timed to coincide with the reveal of its new brand identity, HiB's new state-of-the-art website and new lifestyle brochure, clearly encapsulate the company's ethos of 'making bathrooms beautiful.'

Reflecting HiB's status as a major player in the KBB industry and its commitment to pushing boundaries in innovation, the more contemporary, new look website provides retailers, merchants and end users with a quick and comprehensive look at the leading manufacturer's vast product portfolio.

In addition to a sleek new appearance, users will find the new website clear, straightforward to navigate and packed with useful information. Alongside the standard product information and installation instructions, the site also offers an abundance of aspirational advice and ideas on how to create a beautiful bathroom with real standout products and innovations as well as tips and advice.

Aligned to this, HiB has also invested in new literature to help retailers showcase its offer, and in turn, benefit from the business boost it will bring. The new 100 page full colour brochure incorporates stunning room-set photography and in-depth information on all new and key ranges, and an online version is also available on the website which can be easily downloaded.

Steve Kaye, marketing director at HiB comments: "The new website and brochure are two crucial platforms for us to showcase our brand ethos - enabling customers to more clearly see the design possibilities which our products offer and how they can be used to turn even the simplest bathroom design into a place of beauty.

"We are confident that these new marketing tools will aid our retailers in making sure they maximise on the burgeoning opportunity our portfolio offers as more and more consumers come to place a concerted focus on the all-important details which can transform their bathroom."

HiB is continuing to push boundaries in bathroom mirror innovation with the launch of its beautiful and incredibly innovative new Ambience range.

In an industry first, the Ambience mirror offers a cool to warm white selector via a small touch switch. This enables users to fluctuate between the extremes of warm and cool illumination, and anything in between, in order to pick the perfect lighting to match their bathroom style or the time of day.

Equally, style is accounted for. Simple yet striking in design, the Ambience features a contemporary, curved rectangular form and elegant backlit glow, creating the perfect bathroom focal point and adding a real 'wow factor'.

As with all HiB mirrors, the Ambiance range is fitted with a heated pad to keep it steam free and crystal clear at all times. Also, each mirror employs the latest in LED technology resulting in not only a brilliant illumination but optimal energy saving - with LED's typically offering energy savings of up to 80%.

The Ambience range is available in sizes 50, 60 and 120 and be hung either landscape or portrait to suit the space and style of the bathroom concept.

"As a business committed to product excellence, we're always trying to enhance our product range to provide the ultimate solution for customers," adds Steve.

* HiGGlobe.jpg"Inherently, we've found that the majority of consumers are simply not aware of the dramatic difference which the choice of light colouring can bring to their bathroom. As such, we have specifically developed the Ambience to enable users to change their lighting temperature to match their bathroom setting - whether opting for cool white for a crisp, fresh look or warm white for a softer setting - and anywhere in between.

"Added to this, Ambience boasts sleek good looks and a contemporary appeal - guaranteed to make it the 'go-to' mirror of choice for consumers wanting to add the perfect ambience to their bathroom design."

Steve says that while the brand image may be new, the HiB offer, of course, will continue in its inherent values of providing first-class products which combine cutting edge design, unrivalled innovative features and high quality, all backed up with an exceptional customer service. More so, as the business continues to evolve and expand, customers can look forward to numerous new product launches and developments to come over the coming year.

Started in 1990 by current chairman, Warren Ginsberg, the HiB of today is widely recognised as a market leader in design detailing products for bathrooms. The company's extensive product portfolio includes the very best in mirrors, cabinets, furniture, ventilation and lighting - as well, of course, as its own bathroom furniture brand, HiB Novum.

All products are quality tested at every stage of production, and have been designed in conjunction with customers and industry bodies. With sustainability and energy efficiency in mind, all products are ErP approved.
