Blomberg takes on Scotland
Following the success of its training roadshow throughout England, German appliance brand Blomberg, organised an additional leg of its tour taking the team to Scotland.
Hosting five sessions in Inverurie, two in Larkhall, Kilmarnock, and Dumfries, 69 staff were trained taking the grand total of Euronics agents to benefit from Blomberg's Roadshow in 2015 to 389.
"We work with a number of key retailers in Scotland and it was absolutely essential to extend our initial six week programme to visit them too," says Head of training at Beko, Kay Ainsworth. "Our Blomberg training sessions are designed to be both fun and informative. We don't overload retailers with presentations, but instead bring the facts and figures to life through interactive demonstrations.
"We received excellent feedback from our Scottish retailers, and are always pleased to hear that the training had a positive impact and boosted sales."
Frank Craig of Frank B. Craig's, in Lanarkshire, whose team attended one of the sessions adds: "A mega thanks from all the guys at Frank B. Craig's. We all thought the training was expertly done and entertaining, and we're much wiser for the evening. I'm sure this will help us support the Blomberg brand. They know how to run a great night!"
With over 125 years of production and expertise in the appliance industry, Blomberg is recognised as a German quality brand in home appliances and is a subsidiary of a large multinational group - KOC Holding and the Arcelik Group - which is one of the top 500 largest companies in the world and also second largest home appliances manufacturers in Europe. In the UK, the company supports multiple brands including Blomberg, Beko, Leisure, Grundig, and Flavel, and offers a wide range of appliances in all MDA categories.
