Devonstone's feature floor range extended due to demand from retailers

British Ceramic Tile has added a black colourway to its commercially successful Devonstone collection. The range, which has been a hit with retailers and consumers alike since its initial launch, epitomises one of this year's hottest trends - patterned flooring.

Responding to retailer demand and strong sales of the Devonstone range, British Ceramic Tile has launched the new black colourway to strengthen the current offering of grey and brown. The eye-catching tile features a uniform pattern, making it easy to install in the home for one continuous, stunning look.

Jayne Adamson, marketing manager at British Ceramic Tile, explains: "With patterned floors continuing to be a huge trend in 2016, retailers require an ever-expanding range of tiles to meet consumer demand. Having listened to our retailers, it was clear that there was a need for a black version of Devonstone which we've developed and brought to market."

Devonstone is part of the popular Feature Floors collection, which offers a broad range of styles from traditional Victorian patterns through to classic parquet, along with tiles for the more adventurous. All Feature Floor tiles are ceramic, offering consumers a range of benefits as they are suitable for high-traffic areas as well as wet room environments.

Ceramic tiles are also the perfect material to use with underfloor heating, as it is a great conductor of thermal energy, making the flooring toasty underfoot.

Devonstone Feature Floor is available in brown, grey and black and comes in a 331 x 331mm large format ceramic tile. Also in the range is a plain coordinating floor tile in black (331 x 331mm), while the range offers homeowners the chance to coordinate the look on their walls with a plain tile in either white or black in a 300 x 600mm size.
