More celebrations: this time a 21st birthday!

Showerwall celebrated its 21st birthday at KBB with a distinctive new range update, demonstrating the design strides made for this practical surfacing material with the launch of the premium Showerwall Infinity range with 14 distinctively edgy decors, together with seven new designs in the standard range.

"We feel the market is ready for a fresh injection of ideas that will appeal to a broader demographic of customers from young to old," explained Claire Lambert, product director for Showerwall. "Between our standard Showerwall range and the bolder Infinity range, we are offering up a wealth of choice that can cater for a wide range of tastes and projects."

Showerwall Infinity is aimed squarely at high end retailers and designers looking for something different. The 14 new designs offer a refreshingly new departure into bold colours, metallics and graphic prints that provide a trendier, urban look, together with the option of totally bespoke digital print designs. Infinity includes six 'Whispering Grass' decors of Bergamot, Metallic Grey, Snow White, Clementine, Black and Teal which have been hand selected and endorsed by the award-winning surfaces designer, Lars Contzen, to reflect the very latest design trends.

Recognising the trend importance of matt textures in the bathroom, Showerwall Infinity is the first bathroom wallpanelling range to offer a supermatt texture from the highly innovative surface material, Fenix NTM. Definitely one for the style hunters, with its on-trend supermatt surface, low light reflectivity, soft touch, anti-fingerprint and anti-bacterial properties, Fenix NTM is available in two colourways - Rosa Colorado and Grigio Efeso.

Seven new decors were also previewed in the Showerwall Design Selection, including Urban Concrete, Silver Travertine, Black Glacial, Copper Quartz, Oxidised Copper, Volterra and Silver Bronx, a 3D snakeskin effect. With 40 decors to choose from, the collection spans a wide range of styles from the timeless elegance of marble to the industrial chic of concrete, offering design flexibility to suit any project.

For enhanced performance, Showerwall also launched Sureseal, a new sealant that provides a four-point seal system. With no visible sealant, Sureseal offers superior aesthetics and reduces the risk of damage and discolouration.

A 100% waterproof system, Showerwall is available in a choice of panel sizes that are fast and easy to install and come with a 15 year guarantee. Products were shown in sets from the Essentials Bathroom range by Ideal Bathrooms and the product is available ex-stock nationwide from that company as well as IDS and Formula 1. The new decors will be available from next month.

We learned that there is also a new retailer merchandising package including lifestyle product brochure, swatches and display stands.
