Methven secures Red Dot Product Design Award
Methven has won a 2016 Red Dot Award for product design for its Aio shower featuring Aurajet technology.
Aurajet uses water deflection to create fan-shaped sheets of water. The showerhead's hidden nozzles generate single jets of water that produce a wide, even shower spray with no gaps and enhanced droplet density, delivering up to 20% more total spray force and twice the amount of skin contact - yet using as little water as nine litres per minute - continuing Methven's commitment to savings on water and energy bills for consumers.
With greater spray force and body coverage, the shower also offers a better feeling of warmth.
The Red Dot Award was founded in 1955 and is regarded as the international seal of outstanding design quality. The 2016 awards attracted a record number of entries with 5,200 products from 57 countries vying for Red Dot honours.
