Utopia upgrades bath range at no additional cost

Utopia has introduced a new production process for its range of acrylic shower baths featuring triple layer reinforcement, all at no additional cost. The new Resinite production method includes a 5mm ICI acrylic top coat and results in each bath being incredibly strong and hardwearing with the added benefit of increased insulation properties.

In effect, the baths will now have the solid strength and rigidity of a traditional cast iron bath combined with the natural warmth, high gloss finish and easy clean features that acrylic offers.

Compared with a standard acrylic shower bath, the reinforced baths are 30% heavier and stronger and will retain heat for approximately 30 minutes longer. The totally rigid nature of the reinforced bath means that once in place it won't move and the water seal will last. The baths are also designed with a reinforced top lip, which makes fitting bath panels and top rails much easier.

The new finish applies to all acrylic shower baths in the Utopia range, which includes rectangular and shaped options. The upgrade is part of a current focus on enhancing the bath range and the next stage of this will be the launch of new bath styles later in the year.

In addition to customers benefiting from the much improved quality of the shower baths for the same price, Utopia is also offering half price bath panels and top rails with each bath purchase to promote the new range.
