Next125 wins two Red Dot design awards for contemporary kitchen design
The jury of the Red Dot Design Awards were so impressed with the high quality of design in the next125 collection, that they awarded the 'Red Dot Winner' label to two products. Both the new carcase height of 87.5cm and the stunning NX 950 ceramic fronts caught the eye of the international panel of experts and gained winning status.
Introduced to increase design flexibility, the new 87.5cm carcase and reduced 5cm plinth height creates the additional benefit of increased storage space, making it easier to accommodate larger items. Equally, the new dimensions add an almost monolithic quality to this purist design.
Lighter than aluminium and harder than natural stone, NX 950 ceramic is a high density natural material, which is robust, sustainable and fully recyclable. Available in graphite and concrete grey finishes, the ceramic panel is held in an exquisitely finished frame construction, with an aluminium-coloured support frame forming the reverse side. Solid aluminium edging encloses the panel on all four sides, protecting the narrow ceramic sides and underscoring the minimalist design. The back of the front is finished with an infill panel.
"We are delighted to receive this accolade because the award confirms next125's unmistakable design style," says Markus Schüller, managing director of Schüller Möbelwerk KG.
