Open sesame! with Servo-Drive flex by Blum
Built-in fridge/freezers can now also be elegantly concealed behind fronts in minimalist handleless kitchens. Blum's Servo-Drive flex opens handleless fronts at a single touch. If the door has been opened unintentionally the self-closing mechanism ensures that it closes automatically within a couple of seconds. This will prevent defrosting and food from spoiling.
Servo-Drive flex also has a feature that stops the door from opening if the user just leans against it. The only prerequisite is that the refrigerators and freezers have been built into cabinets - they must not be stand-alone appliances.
Servo-Drive flex opens refrigerator and freezer doors with fixed hinges (i.e. doors are rigidly fixed to furniture fronts) and those with sliding hinges (doors are fixed to fronts by means of a sliding hinge).
To further enlarge the trigger area, the system can be equipped, as an option, with a wireless switch and receiver which means the door can be pressed anywhere over a large area on the front to conveniently open the door. Assembly is tool free and quick and simple.
