HiB goes the distance as 10th van hits the road
As part of an ongoing commitment to going the extra mile for customers, HiB has recently added a 10th delivery van to its busy fleet.
Originally launched a decade ago, the HiB delivery service covers the length and breadth of the country each day in order to ensure all products are delivered on time and in tip-top condition.
Prior to the new addition, the nine-vehicle fleet clocked up an impressive 549,995 miles, completing a total of 43,662 deliveries, in the last 12 months alone.
Ash Chilver, sales director at HiB comments: "Having originally outsourced our delivery function when starting out, we encountered a number of problems with products, particularly mirrors, being damaged in the process. As such, we subsequently decided to take matters into our own hands and launch our own delivery fleet in order to ensure our products reach customers to our exacting standards and in peak condition.
"Following our successful rebrand this January and the addition of numerous new product lines, we've seen a huge sales growth this year. As such, we've invested in a tenth van in order to keep up with this escalating demand, while ensuring the same seamless, second-to-none customer service."
