LDL launches unique new 3D drawer solution
As part of its ongoing bid to offer unrivalled levels of customer service, LDL Components is introducing the unique 3D drawer solution, whereby fully assembled drawers, custom-built to the exact specifications of the customer using premium quality Blum components, are delivered within five days of order.
The move represents considerable investment for LDL, with a new dedicated warehouse and production facility based at its Glossop site.
According to Matthew Lord, LDL's managing director, this new move will not only save precious time ordering and assembling all the separate components, it also means a huge range of drawer sizes, colours, finishes and internal accessories can be offered to the end customer without incurring complicated and costly stock issues.
In effect, LDL holds all the stock for customers as he explains...
"We've dedicated a warehouse specifically to the new 3D drawer solution, where every possible combination of Blum components can be created. Using the 3D brochure, which is available to either request or download from the 3D website, customers simply select the design type and colour they would like and then order using a simple enquiry form."
The move is in direct response to LDL's research into how it could make life easier for customers. Already, ordering has been considerably simplified in many cases with the introduction of one code to cover different components and now the 3D fully assembled drawer solution takes this to a new level where the latest drawer technology is converted from individual components into a fully assembled drawer box for quick and easy installation. Any width from 250 to 1200mm is catered for.
