Maurice Lay Distributors celebrates 40th anniversary
Maurice Lay Distributors is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year with the relaunch of the Sense range of design-led, high performance appliances from its Caple brand.
Set to become available to retailers later this year, the new-look Sense range will combine sleek, stainless steel and black glass with the latest technology to provide consumers with innovative appliances across all categories from cooking and cooling to laundry and dishwashers.
Founded in 1977 by chairman Maurice Lay (pictured left, with managing director Danny Lay), the company has grown to become one of the UK's leading distributors of kitchen and bedroom furniture, appliances, sinks and taps, supplying a host of kitchen retailers and appliance specialists throughout the UK.
The sole distributor for Miele appliances in the UK, the company launched the Caple brand over 20 years ago and continues to grow, thanks in part to its customer service and aftercare support. The company operates out of a purpose-built HQ in Avonmouth, Bristol, which houses two large warehouses and a showroom.
