Browns 2000 range coming to Articad-Pro

The entire range of products from Browns 2000, including doors for kitchens and bedrooms, as well as glass splashbacks, will shortly be available as a comprehensive graphics catalogue within the ArtiCAD-Pro design software.

Northumberland-based Browns 2000 has long been known for its vinyl wrapped doors; however in 2011 it took the significant step of producing laminated products in-house for its Glacier range, spanning both high gloss and supermatt finishes. The laser edge banding on the company's range is regarded as the 'Rolls Royce' of production techniques. Glass splashbacks made to any size and colour, have also been added to the portfolio and are proving a real winner with their customer base.

Graeme Brown of Browns 2000 was keen to have Browns products within a CAD package. Having looked at what was available and checked with his customer base, ArtiCAD-Pro was clearly the CAD software of choice. He met ArtiCAD at the KBB show last year, and was impressed by the company's experience and range of KBB specific products.

"About five years ago it was not so important for our company to be included in a CAD package, but now it is absolutely essential," he says. "We hear from our customers that the public is expecting highly realistic 3D drawings of their proposed rooms all the time. The quality of the visuals produced by ArtiCAD-Pro is fantastic and will really do justice to our products".

Browns 2000 supplies about 25,000 doors, components and glass splashbacks every week. The company's products are delivered to customers using Browns' own fleet of vehicles.

ArtiCAD produces simple, fast and flexible kitchen, bedroom and bathroom design software and online planning and patented styling tools.
