British Ceramic Tiles makes senior appointments within its marketing team

* BCT-Jayne.jpgWith British Ceramic Tile firmly focused on its brand strategy for 2017/18, the company has made strategic appointments within its marketing team as it embarks on establishing itself as the 'go to' brand within the tile industry.

A key move is the promotion of Jayne Adamson to head of retail marketing and brand. Formerly marketing manager at British Ceramic Tile, Jayne says her new role is pivotal to the company's strategic brand direction. With over 15 years 'experience in the surface covering and tile industry, Jayne will oversee three senior product managers and a newly appointed graphic designer, leading the company's vision to become the expert in the tile industry.

Jayne's team will be instrumental in supporting the retail arm of the business, growing and nurturing relationships with existing retailers as well as developing new links in the kitchen and bathroom industry. A significant focus will be on raising the profile of the brand in store and delivering effective marketing solutions that support retailers in communicating tiles in all their glory to customers.

Jayne says: "2017/18 is the year of the brand for British Ceramic Tile. We have big ambitions to become a household name, championing the creative use of tiles in the home. We also want to be a brand that supports our retail customers and homeowners, guiding them through the home renovation process while inspiring them with ideas and stunning ranges that deliver in the style stakes."

* BCT-Jessica.jpgAnother high-level change to the marketing team is the appointment of Jessica Wibberley as head of digital. Recruited to drive and develop the digital strategy for the British Ceramic Tile brand across retail, specification and global markets, Jessica has already made big steps in transforming the company's online presence.

With over nine years' experience in implementing digital retail campaigns for fashion and lifestyle brands, Jessica joins British Ceramic Tile from footwear retailer Moda in Pelle where she was head of ecommerce. The company's digital acquisition manager
and digital content manager will report directly to Jessica as will the external agency responsible for launching British Ceramic Tile's new website.

Jessica says of her appointment: "From the first meeting with British Ceramic Tile I could instantly see the potential for the business to grow and develop its digital presence. With a stunning product portfolio and engaging offline marketing initiatives, we have a strong story to tell consumers and retailers alike building our brand presence at a key time."
