Impey announces 2018 'We Are Wetrooms' training tour dates

* Impey-training.jpgNow entering its third year, the 'We Are Wetrooms' installation training tour continues to grow in popularity. During 2018 Impey's specialist wetroom training event will visit nine locations, giving plumbers, bathroom installers and tilers the opportunity to develop or refresh their wetroom fitting expertise; and booking is now open!

Across domestic, commercial and healthcare settings, the demand for wetrooms is continuing to grow. Understanding how to fit, waterproof and tile a wetroom are essential skills in today's market and there are many new business opportunities to take advantage of for trained wetroom installers.

The 'We Are Wetrooms' UK training tour was launched in 2016 to meet widespread demand for informative, 'hands-on' wetroom installation training. Impey took their industry-leading training programme on the road and, following two-years of sell-out dates, increasing numbers of installers are keen to capitalise on the opportunities afforded through wetroom installation.

The 'We are Wetrooms' tour 2018, which kicks off in March, incorporates extensive training on all Impey's market-leading wetroom solutions including the EasyFit floor former, renowned to be the simplest and most reliable wetroom solution on the market, designed with the installer in mind. Also covered is the installation of the Waterguard tanking solution, and the AquaGrade and AquaGrade Linear screed templates for new pour concrete floors.

The training day focuses on the following areas:

- Wetroom installation and floor formers
- Wetroom installation into a wooden or concrete floor
- How to achieve the correct wetroom gradient
- Effective drainage
- Leak-free water proofing
- How to correctly tile on a floor former or wetroom tray

The precisely tailored programme coupled with small group sizes, ensures that there is plenty of opportunity for all attendees to get involved in the 'hands on' demonstrations and participate in one to one Q&As with the training team, led by Impey's technical manager, Shaun Hunt.

Tiler Andy Carroll who attended the course in Manchester says:

"Attending Impey's 'We Are Wetrooms' training in Manchester was a great experience for myself and my son. We learnt a lot and the information was conveyed in an interesting and simple way.

"Impey is a very progressive brand and the products are designed to make the installer's life easier; it's definitely a brand you can trust. The rotating trap on the EasyFit floor former is a huge time saver and the Waterguard tanking membrane is so simple to fit - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Impey products to both installers and tilers."

The 2018 tour is visiting nine easy-access sporting venues across the UK, giving installers the opportunity to learn essential wetroom fitting skills at a convenient location of their choice. The day starts at 09.30 and finishes circa 15:00 and includes a buffet lunch.

The 2018 tour dates run as follows:

* Ibrox Stadium, Glasgow - Wednesday 21st March
* The Villa at North End, Preston - Wednesday 28th March
