Fundraising is a piece of cake for Franke More in Store retailers across UK and Ireland
The first 50 Franke More in Store retailers have already signed up to host a Blooming Great Tea Party for Marie Curie on Saturday 23rd June, with more across the UK and Ireland joining the growing list every week for a slice of the fundraising action.
This year, Franke has teamed up with cookery writer, author and chef instructor, Judi Rose, to develop an exclusive 'Luscious Lemon Drizzle' cake for the fundraising initiative and is donating them to each of the Franke retailers signed up to host a tea party. Judi developed the recipe based on the original lemon pound cake introduced into the UK by her mother, the renowned Evelyn Rose.
Last year, this national retailer event contributed more than £5,000 to the Marie Curie campaign, helping to fund hundreds of hours of nursing care. Registration is open until noon on Friday 8th June for any more retailers wishing to join in the fundraising fun. They can sign up quickly and easily by visiting www.franke.co.uk to receive a free resource pack and two free, 12-portion Luscious Lemon Drizzle cakes.
The campaign is now in its fifth year and has become a firm favourite in retailers' calendars as a way to raise valuable funds for charity, while increasing footfall into their showrooms in a fun and engaging way.
Franke provides the cakes free of charge, delivered in advance to retailers' doors, plus a free marketing resource pack which includes posters, postcards, tent cards and a news release template, to promote the events in their local communities and help make them as successful as possible.
