Caesarstone serves an ace at Wimbledon

* Caesarstone-Wimbledon.jpgThe luxurious competitors lounge at the Wimbledon Tennis Club required a surface for the dining area, which complemented its style and heritage while providing a high level of functionality. The solution was the beautiful Caesarstone Titanium quartz surface in a 30mm thickness with a 50mm formed edge which was installed by Cheshire Marble (Fabricator and Installer).

A major factor for installing Caesarstone at Wimbledon Tennis Club is its non-porous and scratch resistant qualities. The lounge area will endure heavy use on a daily basis with players and staff using the dining facilities, therefore hygiene is an important factor to consider. Caesarstone has this covered as its hard, non-porous surface makes cleaning simple. In most cases, soap and water or a mild detergent are all that are required to maintain its lustre.

Aesthetics were key for the competitors' lounge and Caesarstone was able to provide a contemporary look with its Titanium quartz surface. This was significant for Wimbledon Tennis Club to uphold its traditional values and heritage and the surface has a stylish appeal which will last for years to come.

"Caesarstone offers a sense of versatility and aesthetically it is one of the best surfaces around," says Matt Howard of Cheshire Marble. "Its hardwearing physical properties mean it is the ultimate combination of form and function."
