Smart Systems partners with Miele on innovative online contract quoting service
Smart Systems, a pioneer in business solutions for the kitchen and bathroom industry, and Miele, a world leader in the production of high quality domestic appliances, have announced the launch of an online contract quoting facility, which aims to provide Miele's Project Partners with the highest level of service in the industry. The system, which utilises Cloud computing, is open to all Miele Project Partners and promises to instantly deliver increased efficiency.
Contract quoting is traditionally a very complex and time consuming process for all involved, and historically Miele's quoting process had been predominately a manual process. The new facility allows Miele Project Partners to easily complete all the necessary registration information online at www.miele.co.uk
The act of registering creates a project on Miele's Cloud based back end Smart system, a quote is then automatically generated and emailed back to the Project Partner, thus minimising the risk of human error. It is now possible for a Miele Project Partner to receive a quote in only a matter of minutes, even with multiple house types.
"There is no doubt that our Project Partners are going to be impressed by this new service we are offering them," enthuses Steve Macfarlane, Miele Commercial Manager.
"We are now in a position to provide the quickest and most accurate turnaround of quotations in the industry. This joint venture has produced an incredibly effective, efficient solution to what is traditionally a laborious process."
Charles Kovacik, Smart Systems Managing Director, explains further: "We were very fortunate to have Miele as our partner on this project. The company's vast experience in this sector of the market gave us an insight second to none into the very specific challenges involved in these processes. This expertise will enable us to develop solutions for other manufacturers in not only the Kitchen sector but also the Bathroom and Bedroom divisions of our industry, helping their customers to work more efficiently."
Smart Systems has been developing and delivering Business and Operational Management systems to the KBB industry sector. Its software is now used and respected by leading retailers and manufacturers across the country and the company is renowned for its excellent support for its customers. In 2010, Smart Systems developed applications specific to this industry using Cloud Technology; the company offers solutions based on the 'Freemium' model whereby the core functions of its KBBConnect product are free to use by KBB retailers. To date, some 2,200 companies are registered users of Smart's systems solutions.
Miele's appliances are found in The All England Lawn Tennis Club at Wimbledon, Italy's Grand Hotel A Villa Feltrinelli, Vienna's Hofburg Imperial Palace and The Kremlin.
