Bushboard's premium Omega laminate worktop range now even better!
Hot on the heels of the August Encore solid surface relaunch, Bushboard is continuing its proactive product drive with a newly unveiled upgraded Omega laminate worksurface range.
Innovation is the watchword for the new Omega collection with a raft of new design and product developments not seen from any worktop manufacturer in recent years, including the technically superb new Q3 edge profile, nine new designs and a selection of shaped components for enhanced design flexibility to work with fluid curves.
Q3 offers a crisper and squarer front edge to the worktop with a tight 3mm postformed radius on the top and underside of the edge, creating a superb linear aesthetic akin to slabs of natural stone, granite or wood. This is the first application of the £2m investment made on a brand new postforming line at their Wellingborough site in January. Q3 features on all new designs as well as a selection of Ultramatt woodgrains and Hi Gloss granites including the hugely successful Quartz family.
There are nine brand new designs for Omega securing its position at the forefront of fashion trends, making a total offering of 52 worktop and upstand decors, along with a collection of 42 splashback designs.
The new designs centre on natural materials with superb new terrazzo's, granites, slate, blocked walnuts and washed woodgrains offering exceptional design scope for contemporary, modern and the growing trend for heritage painted furniture. Roche is a brand new texture which mirrors honed slate with a matt tactile surface, while three high impact citrus colours for 'glass look' splashbacks are guaranteed to inject fun and fashion to a kitchen scheme.
Also new to the range is a choice of two ready-made shaped components offering another level of design freedom for the retailer. Available on six designs tipped as top sellers, the 4.1m worksurface features a deeper 650mm size and has two shaped ends to work beautifully with a variety of curved corner cabinets. There is also a breakfast bar with a double radius end, ideal for island units or a low level table for casual dining

The POS package includes a brand new 36 page colour brochure, swatches and new blocks for the in-store display stand. Current retailers are automatically mailed a launch upgrade box containing all materials.
