Symphony pledges support for retailers with New Year deal
Furniture manufacturer Symphony is to launch a major price promotion in a bid to help retailers battle the recession.
Offering over 50% off its Gallery premium range of kitchens from January to March 2012, this fully funded sale will give retailers a much needed kick start when it comes to boosting their sales and margins during the first quarter of the New Year. Premium cabinets will also be sold at standard assembled prices, while assembled cabinets will be offered at ready-for-assembly prices, and 33% will be wiped off worktops - marking a clear advantage for customers.
"We have invested heavily to grow the retail side of our business, and this will continue in earnest next year," reveals Simon Collyns, marketing director at Symphony.
"Economic times remain tough, so we want to make sure 2012 gets off to the best possible start for our retailers and pledge our support from the offset. We have made the business decision to fully fund New Year sales, offering significant discounts on our beautiful Timeless, Shaker and Modern kitchens, but ensuring retailers maintain their margins."
This is the latest initiative from Symphony in its strategy to significantly increase its customer base of independent retailers. As part of this strategy, last year saw the launch of a six-figure investment in a state-of-the-art marketing suite at its Barnsley HQ, designed to showcase its wide range of kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms to potential retail customers.
"By launching this initiative we aim to strengthen our position in the market by reiterating our commitment to our retailer partners," continues Simon. "We want to work together with them in this difficult period and continue to support them by being innovative with the best products and being commercial when it counts."
Symphony's retail base already consists of over 250 dealers selling its main Gallery brand, as well as more than 300 doing independent retailer brand Milano, many of which sell the company's bathroom and bedroom furniture ranges too.
