Bohle

The exhibition attracted just the right kind of people for Bohle, the Manchester-based manufacturer and supplier of glass installation products. Alic McCabe, Sales Promotion Manager, said on the final day: "We've had a steady stream of visitors every day and unusually we even took orders on the stand for our new sliding glass door system, Portavant 60 (pictured above). For Bohle, KBB 2012 has been well worthwhile.

"As a specialist supplier for glass accessories, we've really only been targeting visitors who install glass in the form of shower doors, internal doors, shelves, balustrades, mirrors and the like. Despite that we've received a high level of interest from all visitors to the show.

"Our new Portavant 60 sliding glass door has attracted many leads and another new product, the BriteGuard surface protection system, has also been particularly popular."

Both products are new to the UK market and have proven to be a hit with interior designers, housebuilders and property developers.

Portavant 60 is a slimline, lightweight sliding glass door system for internal spaces, designed to suit the aesthetics required from demanding homeowners, with a damped opening and closing system for safety and security.

BriteGuard is a perfect example of how Bohle's 90-year experience in the glass industry results in superior products. This simple to use, effective surface protection system needs no specialist training or equipment and can be used on smooth or textured surfaces. As Managing Director Dave Broxton told us: "We knew it would be perfect for shower cubicle, and the response we've received at KBB proves we were right."
