EQ launches new 2D Planner for eStore
KBB business management systems and eCommerce solutions provider EQ Software, introduces MyRoomPlan - an exciting brand new 2D Planning Tool. This product will enhance EQ's already successful eStore product and is available exclusively as an additional sales & marketing element for furniture and bathrooms.
MyRoomPlan has been developed by CAD company ArtiCAD, and will work on all standard browsers and on portable devices, including the Apple iPad. It was recently showcased for the first time at KBIS in Chicago.
"The US audience was blown away by the new interface and the seamless functionality of the whole experience," reports Declan Laffan, Project Manager for EQ Software eStore Division. "Through continual investment and development of this type for eStore, independent kbb companies can now compete online with all major multiples.
"Bricks and mortar retailers not only need a recognised presence on the web to generate showroom leads, but also need to consider the internet as part of their overall sales and marketing strategy for future growth. EStore enables this multi-channel strategy to be put into practise."
Richard Turner, Managing Director at ArtiCAD, echoes the thoughts of Laffan and quotes: "The 2D Planner has taken a long time to develop, but judging by the reaction at KBIS and the UK customers we have shown, it was definitely worth the wait.
"Integrating the new planning tool into eStore takes the retailer internet offer to a whole new dimension and notably levels the playing field for kbb companies online. This is a truly comprehensive design to eCommerce solution for kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms."
