KBSA recognises excellence at awards ceremony

The best performing Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialists Association suppliers have been recognised during an awards ceremony at the 2012 KBBR Kitchen Conference. The awards recognise excellence in those companies that supply products to KBSA retailers and are the only awards of their kind that represent the views of retailers and not a panel of judges.

Built in appliance manufacturer Neff secured the award for best product supplier for the third consecutive year as well as taking the title of best training provider for the first time, with international producer and distributer of quartz, natural stone and recycled surfaces, Silestone, winning best display support.

"We are delighted to know that the kitchen studios we work with have chosen Silestone Quartz as their display supplier of the year!" said Christophe Gontier, Managing Director, Cosentino UK and Ireland.

"We work closely with our valued fabricators to make sure that our marketing support is second-to-none... We want to enable kitchen studios to offer the very best to their customers and increase their sales."

Mike Jarrett, Sales director at Neff said: "To be acknowledged is such an honour but to win for the third year in a row is a privilege. The team work really hard to ensure that we support our dealers with the right product, promotions and campaigns right through to training on Neff features and benefits and building that close working relationship with our dealers. I'm so proud of the team when Neff are recognised for the things that we believe we do well; it really reinforces that we are doing something right."

Retailers voted for their top companies as part of the 2011/12 KBSA supplier survey, which has supplied valuable information about the amount of business generated by retail members for corporate members.

KBSA CEO Graham Ball said: "We are delighted that such well recognised and well respected companies have received the KBSA awards, congratulations to them all.

"The KBSA is the only association to have been operating in the KBB sector for over 30 years. KBSA retailers are responsible for a substantial quantity of sales of premium products supplied by our corporate members and many corporate members have seen their sales increase after taking part in the trading benefit initiatives that we currently offer."
