Everything you need to know about the May Design Series

In response to the design communities needs, UBM has created the May Design Series to provide a single destination for four of the most important trade exhibitions; kbb LDN, The ARC Show, DX and Interiors LDN, at ExCeL London 19th - 21st May.

The May Design Series will provide the definitive destination for inspiration for London-based interior design, property, architectural and retail communities that buy and specify for projects around the world. For the first time, these buyers will have the opportunity to make fully informed buying decisions at the end of the European show cycle and see new designs as soon as they are launched.

The May Design Series serves to bring together leading practitioners and the finest international brands, to form a world-class comprehensive trade show in the heart of London. UBM recognises that buyers visiting these individual shows often have additional needs outside of their direct industry and so it is for this reason that UBM has grouped together these shows to allow these buyers to conveniently and easily cross over in to others relevant areas. These four commercial events will meet the needs of their individual communities and combined serve the broad sourcing needs of these key buyers.

Visitors will be able to gain real insight into the latest advancements, discuss forward-thinking ideas, pressing topics and hard-hitting issues, through the packed programme of speakers. As part of the May Design Series, this speaker programme will also reflect the coming together of these separate events, and provide the setting for discussion between these related communities.

The May Design Series is set to put the buzz back into trade exhibitions with exclusive exhibitors, Ab Rogers' innovative show experience and a packed programme of inspirational speakers. It will be the place to be and to be seen for the design community, and the event for networking with the Champagne Bar, the Innovation Centre and much more.

The latest from the individual shows:

The DX exhibition will be a celebration of design excellence. Design and technology are evolving faster than ever before, bringing unparalleled change to the way we create and furnish the interior, and exterior, spaces in which we live, work and play. The exploratory exhibition will bring together a handpicked selection of cutting-edge design, ideas and solutions for contract and domestic interiors, giving visitors an inspirational, rewarding and empowering experience. Exhibitors in the DX exhibition include; Ligne Roset, Hitch Mylius, Deirdre Dyson, Armourcoat, PP Mobler, Viaduct and Ryan.

Interiors LDN is a brand new event specifically created for the London market and those specifying globally. It will showcase the very best contemporary British and international design in furniture and interiors for the mid to high-end market. The exhibition will feature exclusive exhibitors such as Rolf Benz, in addition to an exciting list of handpicked exhibitors including Spectral, Boca Do Lobo, Sharon Marston, Timorous Beasties, James UK, Deadgood.

kbb LDN is the trade exhibition dedicated to kitchens, bedrooms & bathrooms. In one specific space visitors will be able to see the very best international and British manufacturers for the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom sector. Bursting with inspiration, visitors can see the latest product launches from around the world whilst having the opportunity to meet with key suppliers. Forecasting future trends, the Innovation Centre will be the place to see the most pioneering developments this sector has to offer. Exhibitors confirmed to date include Leicht, Arredo 3, Baumatic, Thomas Dudley, Poggenpohl, Perrin & Rowe, Fisher & Paykel, Hoover Candy and Blum.

Well established in its own right, The ARC Show will join forces with the May Design Series to further cement and grow its position as 'the' leading architectural and decorative lighting exhibition. Developed in unison with mondo*arc magazine, The ARC Show will stay true to its roots, providing a creative and intelligent lighting exhibition for architectural, retail, interior design and property communities worldwide. At the May Design Series, visitors can now see lighting as it should be; a part of the wider built environment. Exhibitors confirmed to date include Erco, iGuzzini, KKDC and Astro Lighting.
