InSinkErator appoints new contracts manager, UK

Elaine Mead has been appointed Contracts Manager, UK, at InSinkErator, the world's largest manufacturer of food waste disposers and a leading brand of steaming hot water taps. Elaine, who has worked for the company for 15 months, was promoted by Managing Director, Europe, Ashley Munden, in April 2013 with a specific brief to drive forward and expand the contracts side of the business.

Elaine, who reports to Kevin Carr, UK Sales Manager, previously worked as Kitchen Retail Manager supporting retailers in and around London and promoting the InSinkErator product range on behalf of the distributors.

"With over 25 years in the industry, Elaine is well qualified for the Contracts Manager position with her depth of knowledge and experience of the market and the business," says Ashley Munden.

"She will be instrumental in spearheading our continuing aim to be the preferred sink appliance brand for UK house builders."
