Changes in Bette's international sales management: managing partner Rolf Viegener retires
After 15 years with the steel/enamel specialist, Bette GmbH & Co, Rolf Viegener is handing over the responsibility for international sales and embarking on his well-earned retirement. His successor, 36-year-old Ladislao Santamaria, took over the helm on 1st June.
Spanish-born Ladislao has a string of international credentials to his name. He studied business sciences at Justus-Liebig University Giessen, specialising in international management, marketing and finance.
After several terms as area manager in the Spanish food retail industry, he joined MÜPRO Services GmbH as Manager International Sales. MÜPRO produces and markets fixing systems; Ladislao coordinated the international branches and was responsible for the networked market strategies.
His career within the group saw him rise from interim company management in Spain and international marketing director to management of the group subsidiary in Dubai.
"With his global experience in the fields of business development, market and product strategy, Ladislao Santamaria is the perfect addition to the Bette family in Germany - and worldwide," says Thilo C. Pahl, managing shareholder at Bette.
Ladislao's predecessor Rolf Viegener was not only the export director, but also a managing partner of the bath specialist, Bette.
"With the departure of Rolf Viegener, we are losing a competent manager and an excellent ambassador, whom we greatly appreciate as a partner and, above all, as a person," adds Thilo. "Our warmest thanks go to him for the services he has provided for the company, and we wish him all the very best on his retirement."
