Leisure Sinks continues to provide quality for Guernsey's States Housing residents

* LEISURE-SINKS-Guernsey.jpgFor the last three years, residents of properties owned by States Housing in Guernsey have been benefitting from Seattle sink and tap packs from Leisure Sinks. The packs, supplied via DHS Guernsey, have been installed throughout the island in a variety of social housing refurbishment projects, valued from £2.5k to £50k.

States Housing properties, which range from bedsit flats to four-bedroom houses, are owned by the States of Guernsey and are rented out by its housing department. Properties are continuously being refurbished, with an average of 120 sinks fitted each year.

Leisure Sinks has established a solid relationship with specialist plumbing and heating supplier DHS Guernsey, which stocks the Seattle sink packs for States Housing to use as and when required.

"The Seattle is a high quality stainless steel sink," says Stewart Blampied, Property Officer at States Housing. "It is nicely sized and competitively priced, with a decent draining area. Plus, the stainless steel construction ensures durability and a resistance to rust; in fact, we haven't had any issues with these sinks over the three years we have been fitting them."

Measuring 950mm x 508mm overall, with a generous main bowl size of 360mm x 424mm x 155mm, the Seattle (SE9501) sink is manufactured from 0.7mm gauge 18/10 stainless steel. Sinks are available with either a polished or linen finish and, to make specification easier, they are completely reversible.

The Seattle sink packs also include Aquamix (TAM1CM) taps, which are custom designed for lower to mid pressures, while boasting a durable, quality chromium plate finish.
