The Bathroom Sale unveils stunning armoury for independents
Applications for the UK Bathroom Brand's Bathroom Sale closed on 31st August 2013. Over 750 retailers have signed up for what promises to be the biggest sale push in UK bathroom history!
In the next few days all participating retailers will receive the Bathroom Sale Newsletter detailing the specifics and functionality of the dedicated Bathroom Sale website www.ukbathroombrands.co.uk. The new website goes live on 23rd September and allows consumers to search by product category or brand. Local showroom information is available via a postcode search or by hovering over the chosen showroom.
Participating retailers have been sent a Bathroom Sale 'Coming Soon' poster and by 25th September will receive the stunning 96pp Bathroom Sale catalogue. Only available in store, this specifically designed book is a comprehensive style selector and buying guide. The brochure features brand new photography styled to set an indulgent and inspirational tone.
From 26th September a heavyweight consumer media campaign designed to reach 7.5m households starts with the distribution of The Bathroom Sale insert. Strikingly more impactful than the usual bathroom promotional inserts, 28 perfect-bound pages combine to create a glossy bathroom guide and will be enclosed within magazines like Your Home, Good Housekeeping, Ideal Home and House & Garden. The national newspaper campaign commences on the 28th September and includes broadsheets, along with The Mail on Sunday and the key proprietary regional papers like The Herald in Scotland.
To complement the print media campaign, The Bathroom Sale is also the focus of an innovative online drive, with sponsored posts on the FT's How to Spend IT, Ocado and The Mail Online designed to reach an additional 7m consumers.
The Bathroom Sale will also be offering its retailers the chance to win one of two awards. By deploying Mystery Shoppers, an award will be given to the retailer that worked hardest to meet the consumer's needs. Nominations will also be gathered for 'Best Local Marketing of The Sale'.
