Win a van with BAL Max-Flex Fibre

* BAL-Max-Flex-Fibre.jpgProfessional tilers using BAL Max-Flex Fibre can win a brand new van in a free draw open to users of BAL's newest products. These are the first in a family of adhesives to be based on pioneering Fibre Strand Technology - FST - unlike anything seen before. Tilers need only to register at www.tilers-demand.com, then log their purchases online, with each purchase earning a free entry.

In addition to the grand prize of a new van - and two runner-up prizes of free fuel for a year - the site also offers a free monthly prize draw for fixers, with prizes ranging from holidays to top-quality tools.

BAL's ground-breaking FST technology means that Max-Flex Fibre has more polymer action than more traditional products, offering a high degree of flexibility - and the company says that no other powder tile adhesive will suit such a range of applications, from swimming pools to kitchens. It can be used to fix anything from large format porcelain to glass mosaics - and, being available in grey and white, is a versatile adhesive solution.

The product can be used on any background, from an overlaid timber floor with underfloor heating in a domestic bathroom to heavy-traffic supermarket flooring. Whatever the project, BAL Max-Flex Fibre offers greater strength, better grab and an extremely smooth mix for easy application. Having a lengthy working time enables the user to mix larger volumes, which allows large areas to be tiled faster, with less time spent mixing.

Alex Underwood, BAL Brand Manager, explains the science behind FST: "Our industry-leading research scientists had been exhaustively analysing the use of certain microfibres and high-quality fillers within adhesives," he says. "They found that a particular combination of components, with the right integration, can greatly enhance the product performance of even the best powder and ready-mixed adhesives.

"In technology terms, the resulting FST is years ahead of anything else on the market."

Lengthy trials have been conducted of both products, with the help of professional tilers across the country. Max-Flex Fibre is available in 20 kg, 10 kg and 5 kg bags in White and 20 kg bags in Grey, from authorised stockists nationwide and, as with all BAL products, carries a full 25-year guarantee.
