Bathroom Brands scoops two Gold Awards at Design Awards 2013
Bathroom Brands has scooped two awards at this year's Design Awards...
The Innovation in Marketing Gold Award was presented to the company in recognition of its outstanding commitment to independent bathroom retailers with its groundbreaking £2m Bathroom Sale.
The Sale, which ran throughout October 2013, is being heralded as a watershed in the way manufacturers support their retail customers - enabling almost 800 specialists to out-compete on quality, price and service, with national chains and internet-only sellers.
The second Gold Award is for Innovation In Technology for Crosswater Digital Elite, the innovative multi-outlet shower/water control system that can be operated via a wireless network or App.
Patrick Riley, CEO of Bathroom Brands, one of the largest bathroom companies, says: "The Sale was a huge success. What we hoped to deliver for our retail partners was a level playing field and at the same time educate the consumer on the benefits of buying from their independent specialist. The sales have surpassed our expectations - which confirms that our approach was right.
