Modern Homes wins KBSA Small Business Saturday promotion

Congratulations to Tina Riley of Modern Homes, winner of the Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialists Association 'Small Business Saturday' promotion.

Tina is a worthy winner as not only did she share details of the event she is running in the showroom on Saturday with the KBSA but her business was also profiled on the Small Business Saturday Facebook page www.facebook.com, which has 8,409 likes!

But Tina did not stop there - she is part of a delegation of business owners travelling to Downing Street today to meet Matthew Hancock MP, Minister for Skills & Enterprise, Chuka Umunna, Shadow Secretary for Business, Innovation & Skills and maybe even the Prime Minister, who has fully endorsed and supported Small Business Saturday.

Tina has made the most of her small Business Saturday activities, a Christmas workshop, including a candle making demonstration and other local crafts, with posts on her Facebook page, Tweets and coverage in the local paper.

KBSA sales and marketing director Ruth Ward says: "Congratulations to Tina and her team at Modern Homes, we're sure that she will fly the flag for the specialist retailers and the KBSA on Friday.

"Special thanks to corporate member Malcolm Scott, from Swift electrical for providing the festive hamper as a prize."
