Galaxy Showers refreshes its product range to meet customer demand
Galaxy Showers has announced plans to refresh its brand image and streamline its product portfolio to better suit the needs of its customers. The decision for this change came about following extensive consumer research into the showering market and will open new opportunities for Galaxy in a range of sectors.
The company, which is part of the Redring Xpelair Group, will be updating the Galaxy image and products to achieve its objective to become the shower brand of choice for homeowners. It will be focussing on retail customers and the retail sector, as well as its existing customer base of electricians and installers.
Through the research, Galaxy identified that the brand has a strong identity in the electric shower market and particularly so amongst those between the ages of 18 and 34. This will form an important part of the future marketing strategy for the brand, including capitalising on these high levels of awareness with 18 - 34 year olds, and raising its profile with other key target demographics.
The Galaxy product range has now been rationalised to focus on the best-selling products as well as the introduction of three brand new solutions. The Aqua 2000M, the Aqua 3000M and the Aqua 3500M electric showers have all been developed to offer a convenient and flexible replacement shower solution, which is of paramount importance to homeowners and installers.
These three showers will form the new Galaxy FlexiFit range. An additional key feature of all three ranges is the multiple entry capabilities. The units all feature six cable entry points and eight pipe entry points on the right and left hand sides to make replacing an old shower much more straightforward. The inclusion of dual terminal blocks within the units also allows for a simple electrical connection.
The three new models also incorporate Galaxy's SlideFit feature, offering a fixed bottom bracket and a sliding top bracket so the height of the rail can be set to directly replace existing units. This ensures minimal disruption to existing bathroom decor and eliminates the necessity to redecorate or re-tile around the new shower - a significant benefit for customers looking to buy a replacement shower.
The refreshed look and offering of the Galaxy range is part of a larger programme of investment and development at Redring Xpelair Group. The Group has committed to extensive trade and consumer research, resulting in improvements being made to the company structure, as well as a significant level of new product launches across its market-leading brands.
