Production resumes as FagorBrandt reopens all French factories

FagorBrandt (France) has announced that all French production sites have reopened. This follows the announcement on November 8th that FagorBrandt (France) had legally separated its activities from Fagor Electrodomesticos (Spain).

Richard Walker, sales & marketing director of De Dietrich Kitchen Appliances says:

"Deliveries to the UK have continued to arrive from the European warehouses throughout December and this is now supported by the restarting of production across all French factories which began on 17th December."

"The UK business is in the beneficial situation of having priority status in terms of supply. We continue to keep our customers completely up to date regarding stock availability; a situation that is made easier now that factories have reopened. The business is also looking at further plans for recommencing production in all factories throughout the Group in early 2014."
