Youth, Energy, Vitality, Ideas, Innovation...

These are the words Yvonne Orgill is using to describe the progress being made with the arrangements for the Bathroom & Kitchen Conference 2014.

"We're delighted with how the industry's long established conference is developing this year," enthuses Yvonne, CEO of the Bathroom Manufacturers Association, which organises the annual event.

Arrangements are well in hand and coming along at quite a pace. We have the location secured - Heythrop Park in Oxfordshire, and the dates of 6th and 7th October for the fringe and the conference day itself. And we are now announcing the theme: Marketing the Future."

"This covers a host of subjects and we will be concentrating on youth, energy, vitality, ideas and innovation - the future of our industry."

Speakers for conference day are already being lined up. Two names we can reveal are Nick Stanhope - CEO of the behaviour change organisation, 'We Are What We Do' and one of Britain's 50 New Radicals (www.wearewhatwedo.org), and Fiona Hawkins, Managing Director of plinkfizz (www.plinkfizz.com) and Finalist - Young Business Person of the Year 2014.

Since joining 'We Are What We Do' in 2007, Nick has defined the organisation's strategic approach and overseen the development of a series of award-winning products and services that provide practical solutions to social and environmental issues. Nick was named One of Britain's 50 New Radicals by The Observer and NESTA in 2012, his latest paper The Incidental Effect has been met with great acclaim and he has given talks all over the world, including at TEDx, Columbia University, The British Council and Google. He will be speaking about New Methods in Behaviour Change.

Fiona is another young and brilliant entrepreneur and is finalist in Young Business Person of the Year 2014 at the annual Sentinel Business Awards (ceremony next week). As Managing Director of plinkfizz Fiona specialises in making marketing campaigns come to life. She has a passion for digital marketing, new media, website development and multi-channel integrated marketing strategies. She will speak about Innovation and Trends in Marketing for Business Growth.

Still with the youthful theme the BMA is announcing today the launch of the BMAIncubator.

This new addition to the Bathroom and Kitchen Industry Conference will show what real youthful talent can do for our industry. A major display of innovative product designs (from those who describe our industry as 'in the past') will showcase their ideas for bathrooms and kitchens of the future.
Invitations are being invited from those who want to apply for a space at the Conference Exhibition.

And there's more - but you'll have to wait. We can't let all the surprises out of the bag in one go!

Bookings now being taken.
