Franke teams up with 'Great British Bake Off' winner Frances Quinn to support Marie Curie 'Blooming Great Tea Party' events with its More in Store retailers

Frances-Quinn.jpgAs part of its More in Store campaign, Franke has partnered with Great British Bake Off Winner, Frances Quinn, to help its independent specialist retailers to host local charity events, to raise funds for the Marie Curie Cancer Care's 'Blooming Great Tea Party', between 20th and 29th June.

Frances Quinn has created three unique and exclusive recipes for Franke: a special charity cupcake, a scrumptious tray-bake and a delicious celebration cake, all of which are fun to bake, and are appropriate for all levels of ability, from the 'novice' to the 'more serious baker'.

Franke is promoting the event to its retailers via the More in Store microsite and social media platforms. To participate, retailers are requested to register to host a charity Tea Party via the microsite. Retailers can then order the quantity of cupcakes they need for their event.

Franke is funding free of charge the professional baking of Frances's charity cupcakes and their delivery to retailer's showrooms in readiness for their chosen date between 20th and 29th June.

Using the cupcakes as the centrepiece of their local event, retailers can serve them up with a nice cuppa, sell or auction them for the Marie Curie Cancer Care charity as they wish.

Franke will also provide participating retailers with a marketing pack to help promote the event in their local community, including posters and press release templates, which can be issued to generate publicity via local media. The charity event and participating retailers will be promoted by Franke on Twitter and Facebook.

All three exclusive Frances Quinn recipes will be available to the public via Franke's main website and social media platforms and will be used to raise funds for Marie Curie.

Says Neil Clark, marketing director at Franke: "Our More in Store campaign is all about supporting our independent specialist retailers to help them grow and prosper in their local area. By partnering with Frances Quinn and our retailers, it gives us the opportunity to work together to raise funds for the very worthy cause of Marie Curie Cancer Care."
