In-toto celebrates 22% increase in 2013 kitchen sales
In-toto kitchens has just announced its annual sales figures for 2013 and is celebrating a 22% increase on the previous year.
Founded over 30 years ago, in-toto is now a well-established kitchen brand in the UK with nearly 50 Design Studios nationwide.
Positioned in the mid-to-premium market, in-toto offers a variety of innovative styles, finishes and colours, emphasising the kitchen's role as the heart of any home. The 37 kitchen ranges are presented in three categories: in-line kitchens showcasing the latest sleek, handleless designs; in-style kitchens providing a wide range of contemporary finishes to create a kitchen with personality; and in-frame kitchens utilising traditional design for a rustic atmosphere.
The company's strong market position is due in part to its consistent brand development and strong product portfolio. Much of its business is generated from customer recommendations and in-toto prides itself on its reputation for excellent customer service. Its investment in market research and marketing materials such as a new website and brochures supports the Design Studios, which are managed by experienced franchisees. With the frequent addition of innovative new products, such as glass doors and acrylic units, the company has responded to the recession and continued to strengthen the platform from which to accelerate its growth, as demonstrated by its 2013 results.
Steve Saunders, National Franchise Manager, says: "In-toto has achieved an increase in sales in 2013 due its excellent products but our success is driven primarily by our hard-working franchisees and fantastic kitchen designers. Some 8% of our increase came from the addition of new stores in 2013 and 14% was fuelled by the experience and dedication from our existing Studios."
Some of the most significant increases in sales came from Beverley, York, Southport, Salisbury and Wokingham - proving that the growth was spread across all different areas of the UK. John McBride, in-toto Franchisee, says that 2013 was a good year for his York showroom because: "We do everything we can to make sure our customers are fully informed of what is happening at all times and make sure the installation runs smoothly. Happy customers tell their friends and hopefully we get more customers. We have also found business networking to really work for us here in York with lead generation."

Jasmine Powdrill, Franchise Development Manager, reveals further plans for expansion, saying: "Our plan is to have 75 showrooms open by the end of 2016.
