Changes at Portway...

* Portway.jpgLeading white goods distributor, Portway, has announced the retirement of longstanding area salesman Dave Gray. Dave was with the company for almost 13 years and will be greatly missed by his customers across the South West and his colleagues at Portway.

Commercial Director John Bainbridge will also miss him and says: "Dave was a real asset to the business and a great character. I'd like to personally thank Dave for his hard work and wish him and his wife Lynn a long and happy retirement."

Portway has also announced the recruitment of John Hale (pictured). Formerly an area sales manager for Inmans, John, 24, who is a self-confessed white-goods-geek, will be known to many of his Portway customers across the West Country and South Wales.

He says: "I'm delighted to back in white goods sales, I love it! I have spent the last 12 months with a well-known retailer in Seaton and although I enjoyed it I am really excited to be back on the road. I look forward to seeing my old customers again and meeting many new ones."

Portway is a private limited company specialising the in the national distribution of white goods brands to independent electrical retailers. Based in Andover, Hants, the company delivers nationally in 48 hours of receipt of order.
