Orion; Sensio's new rechargeable LED under bed light

Lighting specialist Sensio is pleased to further extend its bedroom lighting collection with another pioneering solution, the Orion rechargeable LED under bed light.

Enhancing both the functionality and aesthetics of any bedroom, Orion fits seamlessly beneath the bed, illuminating the area, whilst also transforming the bed into a focal point in the room. The discreet fitting can also be positioned inside cabinets, or under cabinets to create a floating effect and illuminate the floor in a kitchen or a bedroom.

Orion features Sensio's pioneering Lithium-ion battery which means the battery pack can be fully charged in five hours via a USB outlet. Because Orion is charged in this way, the design is completely cable free, so can be installed with ease by anyone. The high energy density of the battery means that it lasts for approximately eight months in between charges (based on 2.5 minutes usage each day).

Sensio's Orion LED under bed light also contains a PIR sensor which detects movement across a two metre radius, and switches on - ideal for those who get up in the middle of the night. The fitting is cable free and comes with a hinge so anyone can install the light.

Orion is surprisingly inexpensive and a low cost, pluggable USB charger is also available.
