Milestone for Nolte Kitchens in Russia

Less than a week after the opening of a studio in Tallinn, Estonia, a Nolte Kitchens flagship store was unveiled in Moscow.

Owner and Managing Director Rinata Safina welcomed more than 150 guests during the ceremony, including representatives of the trade and lifestyle press as well as renowned architects and designers.

Export Director Matthias Berens and Sales Director Ewa Holin had travelled from Germany to attend the event. Also present was Alexander Malinowski, Head of Nolte Kitchens' Sales Agency in Russia.

With over 250 square metres of space, the studio is the largest store dedicated exclusively to Nolte Kitchens in Russia. The focus is on representing the brand as a premium product from Germany, showcased alongside appliances from Miele, Gaggenau, Siemens/BSH, Liebherr and Küppersbusch.

Conveniently situated in a prominent and prestigious location close to the White House, the showroom features a total of six kitchen designs from the new 2015 ranges. Intending to introduce new trends to their customers at an early stage, Rinata Safina and her team of three are going to put on display any future products close to their respective launch dates.

Export Director Matthias Berens further explains the role of the new branch: "Our aim is to strengthen our position in the Russian market and to enhance the profile of Nolte Kitchen as a brand. The new flagship store in Moscow is not only targeted at end consumers, but also at architects and designers, who we hope to attract as a new clientele. The store certainly is a milestone in the business relations with Russia, which were first established in 1993."

Regular events and workshops with the involvement of celebrity chefs are planned at the store. These are designed not only to create further brand awareness, but also to allow customers to experience the benefits and functionality of the kitchens. Already in a best-selling position in the market, with Russia holding a place among Nolte top five export countries in terms of turnover, the flagship store is a further investment made despite and in active opposition to the currently reduced consumer spending.
