Two new faces at BagnoDesign

Andrew-Marsh.jpgBagnoDesign is welcoming two new employees into important roles at its European headquarters in Leeds: Andrew Marsh (left) as technical manager and Paul Sackley (below right) as general manager.

Offering technical assistance to the BagnoDesign team and to the company’s extensive network of customers, Andrew will help with showroom displays and service calls as required. He will also help to ensure that the BagnoDesign aftersales service remains of the highest quality and that its product offering continually improves in response to customer feedback.

paul-sackley_142.jpgAndrew brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having worked in the bathroom industry for the past 12 years. During that time he ran his own bathroom installation business, offering a concept-to-completion business. He later joined TC Bathrooms, progressing from service engineer to aftersales manager during his seven years with the company.

“Having worked on the retail side of things myself I understand how important it is to have technical assistance you can rely on when working on projects,” comments Andrew. “I’m looking forward to meeting with customers and to finding out how we can help them get the very most out of choosing BagnoDesign for their showrooms and for their bathroom projects.”

Paul has flown in from Dubai to take up his role in Birstall, which sees him responsible for optimising the supply chain out of the 175,000 square feet facility, ensuring customer satisfaction and increasing awareness of the brand across the UK and Europe.

Paul joined the Sanipex Group, BagnoDesign’s parent company, five and a half years ago, initially in a consulting role to highlight areas for improvement within the supply chain. Following his appointment as warehouse and distribution manager in the global distribution centre, Paul has spent the last 18 months working with all departments to implement best practice and business processes across the company.

“During my time with Sanipex in Dubai I learnt a great deal in terms of distribution into different markets, and am really excited about putting these skills into practice here in the UK,” he says.

“There is a real difference between the UK and UAE markets and shifting the dynamics of the supply chain to cope with these changes is an exciting prospect. I’m also very much looking forward to meeting with customers, suppliers and franchises in order to better understand their challenges so that together we can overcome them.”
