Bob Marsden, new UK country manager for Nolte Kitchens, taking over from Richard Pedgrift

After 10 years with the company and four years in the UK as Nolte Kitchens' country manager, Richard Pedgrift is handing over the position to his colleague Bob Marsden.

Richard will stay on for a transitional period before going into semi-retirement at the end of May. He will continue working for Nolte Kitchens in a consultancy role.

Bob Marsden, who is currently holding the position of retail sales manager, will continue to oversee the UK sales operation as country manager, working closely with Gordon Boyd and Eddie Streader in the sales team.

Further tasks include the ongoing development of the 'Nolte Direct' Studio Operation, moving on from the current level of 75 studios to a target of 150 direct retail showrooms, aiming for full national coverage.

Nolte Kitchens' export director Matthias Berens is pleased to keep his tried and tested team: "With major events ahead, including the opening of a Westminster flagship showroom and various trade fairs, I am delighted that we have been able to find the new country manager in our midst," he says. "Bob Marsden has been involved in our direct retail scheme from day one and through his invaluable experience will no doubt adapt to his new role very quickly.

"We are glad Richard Pedgrift has agreed to take on a consultancy role to facilitate this transition and assist with further projects. His in-depth knowledge of the industry were key to Nolte's successful development in the UK. We thank him for his past commitment - and welcome him back into the team."

With Bob Marsden's complex tasks as country manager, some of the areas previously handled by Richard Pedgrift will now be dealt with via the company's head offices in Lohne, Germany. Most importantly, this involves all matters concerning marketing and advertising. Joana Areitio will be the new contact in Lohne and glad to help with any proposals, bookings, or other related queries.
