LDL - Designed for Life

* LDL-new-logo.jpgLDL Components, the renowned distributor of furniture fittings and accessories, is celebrating its 12th year in business with a major brand relaunch focusing on the key strengths of the company as it moves forward.

Managing Director Matthew Lord explains: "Working closely with specialist brand strategists, The House, we conducted an in-depth review of every aspect of our business, identifying our major strengths and clear future objectives. Our new logo 'Designed for Life' encapsulates the 'built to last' promise that underlies not only our product range but also our business relationships with both our suppliers and customers."

* Matthew-Lord_LDL.jpgThe relaunch coincides with the relocation of the company's Bath headquarters to substantially larger premises. The move, within the same Bath Business Park in Peasedown St John, gives the rapidly growing company double the space of the current premises and also allows the addition of a 2,000sq.ft, purpose-built showroom scheduled to open in Spring 2016.

A performance driven company, LDL prides itself on being 'obsessed' with customer service. This dedicated commitment to service, coupled with trusted brand partners such as Blum, Wesco, Peka & Furnipart, has led to 12 years of impressive year on year growth for LDL and an industry-leading fulfilment rate of 98.5%. Indeed the company won the 'Most Impressive Growth' category at the National Entrepreneur Awards 2014.

Crucial to the relaunch is ensuring and consolidating the engagement and commitment of all staff and therefore a key part of the programme has been the development of an internal code of conduct clearly setting out company standards to which employees will 'sign up'. As Matthew explains: "The company's most powerful asset is its personnel and their friendly, approachable relationships with business partners and customers alike. We are always seeking to improve how we work."

A brochure presenting the aims and strategy of the newly-focused LDL for existing business partners and new contacts has also been prepared. In addition, a new website is under construction for launch later in the year to enhance the customer experience.

LDL Components supplies kitchen and bedroom manufacturers and retailers throughout the UK, specialising in quality products for the premium end of the market. An impressive 99% of the extensive range is held in stock with next day delivery as standard.
