Uform introduces new smooth painted finish doors and accessories, offering quality, choice convenience

* Georgia-Painted-Dresser-in-Porcelain.jpgUform, a market leading supplier of kitchen doors and accessories in the UK and Ireland, has introduced two new smooth painted finish doors to its extensive Kitchen Stori collection in an array of 21 colours.

The introduction of the new product ranges from Uform follows findings of extensive market research, with painted furniture and kitchens in particular proving to be one of the top interior trends as of late as consumer demand soars for smooth painted and flawless matt finishes.

The Florence and Georgia ranges are the latest offerings under the Kitchen Stori brand and come complete with a range of accessories allowing the discerning consumer to achieve statement pieces of painted kitchen furniture with endless design possibilities. Both ranges include accessories such as beaded end panels, modular pilasters and quadrant mouldings all allowing for individuality in terms of design and overall look, with pastry benches and spice racks among some of the pieces that can be achieved.

Both new styles are 18mm routered doors; the Georgia range is a classic shaker style door while the Florence range varies slightly with the incorporation of a subtle internal bead around the centre panel of the door. They are manufactured using MDF Plus, which provides a stable material that is finished to an exceptionally high standard through Uform's own state-of-the-art automated paint line.

The high material specification MDF Plus coupled with the automated paint finishing will ensure the product is sustainable to whatever humidity conditions it's exposed to, resulting in no fracturing of paint and no warping or twisting of the doors themselves - meaning that ultimately, the products will remain stable within the kitchen for a long period of time.

The extensive pallet of 21 colours incorporates a range of both dark and light tones including muted and earthy shades that are currently hot on trend. Four popular colours are available ex-stock in the Georgia and Florence range, namely Porcelain, Light Grey, Mussel and Stone.

Following its successful launch in October 2014, Uform has also extended colour offerings in its exclusive Olympia range; the soft touch matt door featuring a contemporary integrated handle.

With exclusive design registration under the Kitchen Stori brand, the unique Olympia range is now also available in 21 painted colours, allowing the retailer the opportunity to provide not only an exclusively modern door design but also one in the same array of shades as the new Georgia and Florence.

The company has also added to its already popular high-gloss handless Strada range with two new additional colours, now available in fashionable light grey and cashmere.

Uform Managing Director Eamon Donnelly explains: "We are delighted to bring these new product offerings to the market and are confident that our new portfolio will offer not only end consumers an extensive range of design possibilities but also kitchen retailers the opportunity to sell ranges that offer value, convenience and choice in terms of lead time and colour. Our latest offerings are not only innovative in terms of design; they are products of exceptional quality - products that retailers will be both confident and proud to offer."

Over recent months a £3 million investment programme has been deployed by Uform, which will result in an additional 30,000sq.ft of warehousing to facilitate more ex-stock product, an automated paint line, a pressurised spray booth and an automated wrapping and packing line.

To support the new product launch, Uform has also launched a new Kitchen Stori brochure featuring 196 pages of high quality imagery with an increased focus on cameo shots and accessories. A new technical and application guide is also available providing retailers with detailed product specifications as well as showcasing aspirational design capabilities for the end consumer.

Eamon Donnelly continues: "We have invested considerably in recent months in order to not only increase efficiencies internally but to more importantly ensure optimum service levels are maintained and lead times are kept to a minimum for products.
"Convenience is key for our retailers and we are confident that the product strategy to stock more colours in popular ranges will enable us to become even easier to do business with."

The new products innovations from Kitchen Stori are FSC compliant meaning that they are environmentally friendly in terms of the materials used. The product quality and design will allow the retailer to have confidence in the value and superiority of the product. In addition to this, a new five year warranty will be offered on all products.

Stock and samples are available now.
