Smeg appoints new regional sales manager for the North West & West Midlands

Smeg, the premium Italian domestic appliance manufacturer, has announced the appointment of Richie Bleasdale as its new regional sales manager across the North West & West Midlands.

His appointment signifies Smeg's commitment to investing in and growing its sales team in the UK.

With over 16 years' experience in the kitchen appliance sector for GDHA, covering various roles including sales support, product management, national and regional account management roles, Richie will be responsible for developing Smeg's independent business channels in the North West & West Midlands regions.

Richie succeeds Karen Parker who has moved into a new key account manager role within Smeg UK. He says of his new appointment: "I'm delighted to have joined Smeg at such an exciting time in the company's ongoing expansion, with a huge range of new product launches introduced already in 2015 which will serve to strengthen Smeg's position in the market.
