New Combi-Steam oven combines microwave speed with conventional heat and steam
The engineers at V-Zug have launched an oven which combines the speed of a microwave with conventional heat and steam.
The new Combi-Steam MSLQ oven brings together all the best features of V-Zug’s combi-steam ovens, with the added quick convenience of a microwave. Simply pressing the oven’s PowerPlus function, boosts the oven into action and accelerates the cooking programmes.
The technology has been developed over the last four years, and promises a time saving of up to one third. This style of cooking also preserves the essential nutrients with tests confirmed by the Zurich University of Applied Sciences.
To help develop this new oven the company consulted top Swiss chefs such as Andreas Caminada, Tanja Grandist and Nenad Mlinarevic, so customers can be assured of its quality and high standards. In addition, users will benefit from the oven’s 65 pre-set, inspiring recipes from the chefs.
The oven also features V-ZUG’s latest styling including a touchscreen. It has the same feel as a smartphone and can be operated with a simple and direct tap. It’s also visual with its full-colour graphic display which shows all the functions at a glance. What’s more, in the background it displays delicious looking meals prepared by chef Andreas Caminada.
