BMA to host BIM seminar
The Bathroom Manufacturers Association is hosting a Building Information Modelling seminar, which is open to everyone who is trading in the bathroom industry.
"From 2016, all Government related building projects - falling within the current criteria - must be submitted under a BIM process, which is validated and monitored under the laid down procedure," warns the BMA's Yvonne Orgill. "BIM looks at the build, maintenance and demolition across the lifetime of the building and underpins Government's objectives to reduce waste, carbon emissions and use more sustainable products and methods.
"What does this mean for the bathroom industry? Are you ready to embrace BIM? Do you need more information?"
The BMA will be hosting a BIM seminar that is designed to help the industry to understand and embrace BIM. It will be held on Monday 12th October from 12.30 - 16:00 at Crowne Plaza Heythrop Park, Enstone, Oxfordshire and is open to all interested parties.
"The seminar will see leading experts enlighten delegates on this complex topic and delve further into the consequences," says Yvonne.
