Krieder Parisian kitchens delight at 100% Design

* Krieder-Parisian.jpgLuxury interiors company, Krieder, exhibited its daring new Parisian kitchen range at 100% Design exhibition, showcasing its exciting use of avant-garde materials and finishes. Its innovative and brave use of metallic and concrete finishes instantly captivated visitors to the show with its understated glamour. This unique blend of finishes is typical for Krieder - a company versed in bringing together interesting solutions for bespoke projects.

Shimmering in the light, the kitchen featured an alluring wall of sleek, handleless tall units with a mottled gold metallic finish. This special finish was produced by creating a base layer with a bronze lacquer which is sprayed with a gold metallic finish and distressed by hand with a steeple effect, followed by three layers of high gloss lacquer.

Adjacent to the tall units, the display featured a large and impressive kitchen island with a striking use of concrete. The island's handleless cabinetry featured a bespoke micro concrete outer layer which created a richly textured aesthetic with its heavy relief, offering a beautiful contrast to the high gloss wall units. To the outer facing of the island, the island featured unusually wide drawers at 180cm to give prominence to the materials.

Complementing the mixture of cabinetry, the island featured a worktop made of high quality porcelain finished in an eye-catching speckled iron copper finish. The worktop played with the viewer's gaze with a thin 12mm run across the main island offset by a distinctive and chunky 40mm thick breakfast bar. The worktop as well as being stylish is very practical as it is non-porous and heat and scratch resistant.

Using each surface to create an interesting mixture of textures, a bespoke extractor hood formed a focal point with beautifully distressed, antique, American tin tiles.

Krieder's finishes are hand-produced by specialist craftsmen in Kent with fine internal cabinetry sourced from Germany. The company also offers internal components including integrated waste receptacles to provide efficient storage. The showroom in Tunbridge Wells displays a range of design solutions for kitchens and bedrooms.

Matt Yeatman, Managing Director at Krieder comments: "It was our first year exhibiting at 100% Design and we were really impressed with the whole experience. There was a high volume of visitors but more importantly we saw the right visitors with a high calibre of interior designers and architects showing interest in our products, so we're very excited to follow up the leads generated at the show".

The Parisian kitchen pictured here with V-Zug appliances, is a similar kitchen arrangement to the kitchen seen at 100% Design. It features handle-less tall units with a mottled gold metallic lacquer finish, an island with handle-less cabinetry with a textured bespoke micro concrete outer layer, a 12mm worktop made of high quality porcelain finished in an eye-catching speckled iron copper finish and a breakfast bar in oak measuring 40mm, and a bespoke extractor hood with distressed, antique, American tin tiles.
