Britannia keeps cool with Humble Pie

Britannia has provided a stainless steel Montana American style fridge-freezer to new UKTV cookery series, Humble Pie, which is hosted by Melanie Sykes and stars celebrity chef Marco Pierre White.

"It will be great to see the contestants and Marco Pierre White using one of the hero products in our range throughout the series," says Michael Haigh, marketing manager at Britannia Living.

"With more and more of us taking inspiration from our favourite cookery programmes, we were thrilled to be able to showcase our Montana to an audience of keen cooks. The first episode was fantastic and we look forward to tuning in each week, while keeping our eyes peeled for the Montana!"

The show sees four contestants go head-to-head in the kitchen each week in a quest to win the £2,500 top prize as they rate each other's dishes, while also being judged by Pierre White himself.

Joel Gore, food producer for RDF Television, says: "The Montana fridge freezer is the perfect addition to our set. It offers an extremely large capacity to cater for all of our contestants, while also providing a real style statement."

The A+ rated appliance offers a capacity of 23 cu.ft. It has been developed with a variety of innovations that ensure optimum food preservation, including a sweetspot shelf, a ClimateKeeper air tower and frost guard technology. Thanks to the Britannia Colourange service, the Montana can also be specified to match any colour sample.
